Conformité Européenne (LVD + EMC)
European Union
Mandatory for all electrical products sold in the EU. Covers Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) and EMC Directive (2014/30/EU). Required for CE marking on finished ebike products.

International
Required for air, sea, and road transport of lithium batteries as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. Without this certification, batteries cannot be shipped internationally. Valid for 5 years per cell/pack design.

International
Safety requirements for rechargeable lithium cells and batteries used in portable applications. Covers electrical, mechanical, and thermal abuse tests. Complements CE/LVD for battery packs.

RoHS 3: Restriction of Hazardous Substances (2015/863/EU)
European Union
Restricts use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, and 4 phthalates in electrical equipment. Mandatory for CE marking. Our batteries are 100% RoHS compliant.

UL 2271: Batteries for Light Electric Vehicle Applications
North America
US/Canada safety standard for batteries used in light electric vehicles including ebikes and scooters. Required for major US retailers (REI, Trek, Specialized supply chain). Managed by Underwriters Laboratories.
UL 2849: Electrical Systems for eBikes
North America
System-level standard for the entire ebike electrical system. Newer requirement increasingly demanded by US retailers and insurance companies. Covers battery + motor + controller + wiring integration.
FCC Part 15: Radio Frequency Devices
USA
Required for any product with radio frequency emissions sold in the USA, including ebike batteries with BLE/wireless BMS communication. Administered by the Federal Communications Commission.
WEEE Directive: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
European Union
EU directive governing end-of-life collection and recycling of electrical equipment. Manufacturers/importers must register with WEEE compliance schemes per country. We provide WEEE documentation for EU importers.
Regulatory Compliance Mark (formerly C-Tick + A-Tick)
Australia / New Zealand
Required for electrical products sold in Australia and New Zealand. Combines safety (SAA) and EMC compliance into a single mark, regulated by the ACMA.
KC Mark: Korea Certification
South Korea
Mandatory safety certification for electrical products sold in South Korea, regulated by KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards). Required for lithium batteries for ebikes.

6-Stage Quality Control
Every pack shipped passes a documented 6-stage quality process. No exceptions. Full traceability from cell lot to finished product serial number.
Incoming Cell Inspection
Every cell batch is inspected on arrival: 100% capacity check, internal resistance measurement, visual inspection for defects. Cells outside spec are quarantined and returned.
Formation Cycling
All cells undergo formation cycles before assembly: initial charge-discharge to activate electrolyte and establish baseline capacity. Cells are graded into capacity bins ±2% for matched assembly.
Module Assembly & Welding
Automated spot welding with in-line weld resistance checks. Each nickel strip joint is 100% resistance-tested. Cell arrangement documented per work order for traceability.
BMS Programming & Testing
BMS flashed with batch-specific firmware. Cell balancing calibrated. Over-current, over-temperature, and over-discharge thresholds verified with calibrated test equipment.
Pack-Level Functional Test
Each finished pack: full charge cycle, capacity verification, discharge profile recording. Voltage across each cell group checked for balance. Physical integrity check (drop simulation, vibration test on sampled basis).
Aging & Final QC
8-hour aging test at elevated temperature. Final capacity check must be within ±3% of specification. Visual, dimensional, connector torque, and label verification before packaging.
Independent Verification
Certifications are issued by accredited, internationally recognized test laboratories. Reports are available for all standard certifications.
